Starter motor for circa 88 5.0 mercruiser

The starter is shot on my mercruiser.<br /><br />When cold its fine but as soon as the engine warms it just wont turn.<br /><br />All the merc starters I see on the net loo different to mine.<br /><br />Mine has two bolt holes on the flange at opposite sides and mounts on the right hand side of the engine (when viewed from behind). So basically the mounting flange is egg shapped and with 2 holes.<br /><br />All the ones i see pics off have some big bracket thing which doesn't look like it will fit.<br /><br />Any ideas? Seen a new marine starter for a volvo aq200 5.0 GM block which is the same as my block and its cheap. Will this work?<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Jay
