STARTER I THINK

changed the starter on my 50hp 73 evinrude prior to i would turn the key and just hear a click so I cnahged the starter thinking it was fine went to start thin morning same think click I disconnected it and reinstalled it identical I take pictures of it all so that I have a good point of reference what can it be

Miloman, I would check to see if you are getting battery voltage past the starter relay to the terminal on the starter. If you are getting the voltage there, then it might be the starter. Do you have a voltmeter to check that? Jim Reed

no but I will borrow it from my neighbor today It seems lile my solinoid is clicking thats why I think the starter Ill check this in a few minutes and see
