Newbie to the site but been around floating toys my whole life. Embarking on a resto of a 63 Jupiter complete w/ original 75 hp Johnson. I did a 67 that was my pride and joy but after sifting through some of the posts on here...it seems I didnt quite do it right...used pressure treated on the floor. Rebuilt a 75 Chrysler 30hp electric and ran on it a couple years but upgraded it to a 87 115 Merc inline 6 with t/t. Loved that boat!! I'm a welder fabricator and was working on the road alot and paid someone to store it and the SCUMBAG sold the entire rig, trailer boat motor, electronics, etc...everything for scrap!! He's in the middle of some deep doo doo with the sheriffs dept. And then after the judge orders restitution I probably wont see a cent!! I had over 4200 in that boat... woe is me...Oh well, I'll post pics as I go along of the 63. Nice site though, i'm impressed
