Looking for owners manual/documentation for a 1964 StarChief. Starcraft won't talk to me about it. <br /><br />This has a Mercruiser 110 engine. Does anyone know if this has trim/tilt. I don't see any controls etc. for this.

Like you, I have a Starchief bought just this summer past, but a 1963 hardtop, and I'm looking for a manual too.This boat is an outboard, and my hope would be that the manual would tell me where to put the 200 pounds of rocks it needs to trim out. The 70hp outboard can't trim enough. 5 G'children up front makes the thing trim out nice, but We only get that many on one long weekend (thanks be given!)<br />A question if you don't mind, how do you trim with an inboard and outdrive on the back?<br /><br />10 G'Kinder?

I have yet to put this one in the water! Bad roller on the trailer noticed just before slicing her open. <br />Mine is also a hardtop. I really like the style for an older boat. <br />As for trim etc I am a boating novice so should be getting quite a lesson next summer.

Hello

I am new to the site but love it, was hoping to trade some pics with you gentlemen, I also own a 1963 Starchief Hardtop with an outboard that I cleaned up some and use as my fishing boat and all around family boat, daughter loves the cabin area to play while dad fishes and thats always a good thing for those long days out on the water. I will get some pics of her up soon.
