Starcraft Star Outboard Motor (Force/Chrysler)

Back in the early 1980s, Starcraft had a short-lived deal with Chrysler (or was it Force at that point?) and sold some rigs with rebadged motors, called Star. One just turned up locally... I almost feel the need to acquire it, just to have one. Almost. Not that I would ever actually use it, but just to add to the collection... If it were $100, instead of $700, I might think differently...

I'm always impressed by the cool boating stuff found in the finger lakes region. That's a unique motor and I think it would be a good one for my 16' SS.

Thanks for posting the link Chinewalker, I would never have guessed that Starcraft had rebadged Chrysler outboards, neat stuff.

the Forces where later in the Chrysler/Force run, now parts are available through Mercury Dealers

Guess you could copy the design to for your own boat.

OMG WANT! I have always liked the Chrysler outboards. I just think they look big an imposing. I'd love that one.

I added a permanent image so when the ad gets deleted we can still look at the rare outboard.
