Was thinking about purchasing a 1983 Starcraft sf221v with a Stringer OMC outdrive and a 350 OMC motor is $2, 800 a reasonable price it is in good mechanical condition inside and out

Nope,..... Welcome Aboard,..... OMC is outa business, 'n the Stringer drive is obsolete,..... No parts to fix it,.....

Bondo's right @ OMC, but plenty have bought them w OMCs and changed to a Mercruiser. It does take a fair amount of work though..

It does have a 10hp kicker and all the rivets look good boats been in storage most it's life., What would be a reasonable price. I also have a 350 with a Merc. Cruise to possibly throw into it someday, has anyone ever had this done by a pro? Just curious of costs down the road? Thanks
