No standard size or connection type (hose barb verse threaded).I am wanting to replace my sink drain thru hull with a stainless thru hull.Does anyone know the standard size? Both my bathroom and kitchen look to be about an inch.Charlie
you are confusing residential with marineSome older sinks may have drains that connect to a 1 1/4-inch tailpiece, but most modern drains have a 1 1/2-inch outlet. All the pipes that connect to the tailpiece, including the P-trap assembly and all the horizontal extensions, are either 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
