stalls coming out of reverse to nuetral

My boat (1983 Searay V195 Mercruiser 228 HP I/O) stalls everytime you pull it out of reverse, idle is fine, goes into rev and forward w/o a problem.<br />I am trying to find out how to adjust nuetral safety switch ( or is there another switch?), haven't been able to get my hands on a manual yet.<br />Any help would be appretiated.
