i have a 1976 johnson 70 hp motor that was just worked on by a local boat dealer who told me that the engine will comtinue to stall because its so old but i have a feeling he just didnt know how to fix it but my carbs are rebuild and i just drained my fuel tank and put in fresh gas but i still have the same problem the engine stil cutts out when i put it in gear i have to basicaly put directly into full throttle to get it to go does anyone have any suggestions before i get over charged again.
