I am a writer researching a stainless steel row boat donated to a group I belong to. Any help on the topic will be most appreciated. A stainless steel boat is entirely new to me!!!!

This is a rowboat....it once belonged to a prominent Chicago family.
its a utility boat, doesnt matter who owned it.

many of the utility boat companies made stainless versions of their aluminum boats in the 40's and 50's. however since you are doing the research, I have pointed you toward the answer. look in the fiberglassics library. try starcraft - they made an 11.5 foot stainless boat and a 14' in the 1952-1954 time frame.

or simply google stainless steel utility boat or stainless row boat

however since you appear not to want to put the research in.
