I've never really understood why OEM parts like manifolds and risers are made out of cast iron. They are under constant attack by everything around it from salt water to high heat.
One day I came across a company in Malta that produces really nice looking manifolds and risers and I'm considering buying my next set from there.
What I'm wondering is if any of our collective has any experience with them. The ones I saw looked beautiful and sexy.

Personally, never heard of them. SS manifolds are big $$$$$$$ which is why they are not OEM. Most engines are fresh water and don't have the problem of corrosion like salt water boats do.

PS: Notice you are from Ketchikan, left there in 07 and sure miss it.

Re: Stainless Steel Manifolds and Risers

I didn't post a link to the site I found because I wasn't sure if I would be breaking the rules or not. But I'm certain I'll be buying them the next time I need to change them. Money wasn't the problem, surprisingly. It was $200 cheaper even after shipping than the one's I bought from Seattle and shipped up. I'll post pictures whenever I change them out.
It's true that salt water boating is much more expensive than being in fresh water, but for me the rewards are worth it ten fold. Should you ever find yourself in my waters here again, we need to go out fishing. I know where they live.

Just googled to Malta and I saw I've got the same one's.
I also thought price was ok and made the buy now 2 years ago here's a pick of mine
But have upgraded this year to the same headers with O2 sensors.:)
I think they are great and far less maintanance needed copared to stock.
The only thing is that the delivered 10.9 ALLEN key bolts with modified key is a bit of a hasle to install

That is really sexy I must say. Do you have drain plugs to allow the sea water to drain away?

YEP, these are also the inner zink anodes for the headers.
Have to look for a pick!

Yup got it. but only from my second setup with the O2 sensors on it but are all the same.
Need to get rid of my first setup sometime
