Stain on canvas boat cover

I have a yellowish color, canvas boat cover. The cover has about an 8" circular stain from gas leaking out of the bleeder valve from the gas tank. I tried using dish soap and water to get the stain out, but it didn't help much. Any suggestions on what cleaner would work best for this?

Shout-It-Out....Just follow the instructions on the bottle, except the washing machine part. Also use Dawn dishwashing liquid soap to wash it out. <br />Good luck and let us know how it worked.

try useing a little bleach mixed in with your soap mixture..<br /><br />trog

Try spraying with a can of brake cleaner before washing it again.Charlie
