I would think that even the fish would be laughing over that blunder :D

In the old Navy, a change in the chain of command would be mandatory. Today's Navy, the soap will be dropped and they'll keep their jobs.

Not so. There are going to be at LEAST two people looking for work, more than likely there will be a couple more from each ship.

Yep I think so. The Cap'ns may have had nothing directly to do with the collision but they are responsible for everything that happens on their ships/boats. The Navy is merciless when it comes to this.

Even things that might have been totally beyond the control of ship and crew can be hard on the Cap'n. The theory goes that they should either not have been there, should have anticipated 'it', or should have handled it in a way that did not result in damage, injury or death.

Off with the Cap'ns head, I say!:eek:
