We have seen some signs of Srping in the last 3 days. A lot of daffodils have bloomed and some trees are showing buds. We do still have a few more weeks to go to make sure we are past any possibility of frost.

its getting there bubba we are seeing a few plants breaking through the ground but havnt much more than that. And snow is predicted later this week. This is one of those winters that just wont go away but then a lot of places really need the rains.

Man is it ever SNOWING this AM. I'm guessing there is already 6" on the ground but it's hard to tell because it's all moving sideways... Wind 25 MPH with gusts up to 40 MPH.

My hope is we don't lose electrical power and have to get the genny going. I just want to stay inside and toasty warm.

Your storm is heading this way for tomorrow night and Thursday. Luckily Southeast new england is just getting rain but northern New England is supposed to get dumped on.

We are going to get 5 days of rain from it. You all are getting hammered. I hope its your last one of the season. :facepalm: This has been one of those years it just dosnt want to stop.

Rocky is the storm that just keeps on giving. I don't think the snow has slowed at all the entire day and they say to expect more...

I'd sure send you my share of it if I could.

...its looking like that is what this coming weekend holds in store for me. We've had a snowless year at this point....and thats probably it with spring now starting to arrive (knock on wood).
That said, this is definitely the time of year to buy discounted snow tires...whose worth and usage are always a big crapshoot around here.
What I do like is to hear the birds of spring out...what a great sound!!

Well.....I saw a bluebird in the back yard on Monday, then saw one checking out the nest box today. Seems a little early for mid-NY, but I know what I saw!

There won't be a early Spring in the Southeast this year. 70 Sunday but the other days have been in the 40s and 50s. Looks like this trend will continue for the next 10 days. Chance of Snow Saturday. This sucks! Well I do love the rain we have been getting. May have to put off boating for a few more weeks
