hi all, do any of us have one of these go-lights and if so can the stantion mount be cut down to 6 inchs without any problems, i want to buy one but the bow rail on my boat will get in the way. none of the stores have one so i cant check it out,i can buy it online only.thank<br /><br /> http://www.iboats.com/mall/index.cg... light&session_id=212877781&*******=360310385

i have one.. i had to make it 6 inches higher/taller.. <br /><br />with me,, anythings possible.. i can do anything.. it's just a matter of how bad it need it..<br /><br />it was a bee-ottch.. the pole is very thin ..

The neatest way to cut the pole is with a tubing cutter from the home center plumbing section. About $6.00 or so. Don't cut the wires!
