I have a 2000 280 with sportmaster the other day I went to take off and I heard a bang then motor reved up and died cranked motor back up put it in forward and it idles around fine as normal give it a little gas and motor just revs up . I have checked the hub in the prop, shift cable, no damage to teeth on gears I am thinking maby the clutch dog or something in front of the forward gear. Any ideas . Also on the shift shaft seal bushing is that right or left hand threads thanks
