I posted this in the Force engine forum and was told to try here. I have a 1994 Baja Blast with a 90hp Sport Jet, the issue is that when cranking the engine fuel pours out the throats of all three carbs. Carbs. were rebuilt last year, today I installed a 60psi gauge in the fuel supply line to the carbs. and when cranking the engine the fuel pressure pegged the gauge. After reading the manual I see that the pump is actuated by crankcase vacuum/pressure so I was thinking the diapragm in the pump was bad allowing crankcase pressure to enter the fuel system, I pulled the pump apart but do not see any signs of a hole in the diaphragm. What would cause such a high fuel pressure?
