I wnat to do some tuning at home asap but I do not have the dealer flushing adapter. Any ideas as to how to do that with any other readily available fittings at a local plumbing supply? I don't know why they did not just use standard 3/4 pipe fittings. Thanks.

I think it is 5/8 flare to 1/2 NPT then get a 1/2 NPT to hose fitting , Available at Lowes .

So is the 5/8" flare the part that screws into the motor??? And if so, is there a way to rig up something so you don't have to screw/unscrew into the block every time you want to flush???

New owner myself, been reading a lot about this flush thing, want to get a good handle on it....

The flare should be on the hose off the drive pickup , If you put a T fitting in you would be running a cap over the hose connector and creating some disturbance in flow ... just not worth it to save 3 minutes .
