Hi,i am new to this forum wondering if anyone could help.I have fitted a seconed battery with the on/off/combine switch with a split charge didode.wired it all up no probs but when it came to finding the charge wire it wasnt where i expected it.it wasnt at the starter the only wires there were for the power tilt.i followed the wires from the flywheel (three together)down to the reg then there is a white quite thick wire coming out of the reg im sure this is the charge wire but if i disconnect this the enging will not crank as with a few other wires ive disconnected.what i have done for now is tapped into this wire not cut it and both batteries are charging great.The engine is a honda bf75 carb version 2003.just wondering if anyone could shed a bit of light on this as with the diode i need to disconnect the charging wire and connect this to the input of the diode
