splicing fuel line

I have a boat with 20gal onboard to fuel main motor.I would like to eliminate fuel can for kicker motor.Can I splice into the main line,and what parts would i need.

hello<br /> if they can both use the same fuel why not? all you need is a three way valve. off, motor 1, or motor 2. its not hard nor expensive. if the fuel is gasoline, make sure the valves are UL rated and coast guard approved for marine gasoline. good luck and keep posting

Make sure that the valve and lines are of the correct ID for proper fuel flow to the motor.
