I've been seeing "comments" pop up under Topic Posts:



What's that all about? I'm missing the how/why connection somewhere.

The recent update must have turned those back on for members, we discussed it and thought it would be confusing for viewers.

I will see if we can get that turned off again.

I kinda' don't understand the purpose - but it's like the comment streams you see on YouTube or something (I think anyway).

A couple of weeks ago I made some posts in a topic which was eventually merged (I think) with a duplicate. My posts ended up as comments in the destination topic. I'll have to find it if I can. The topic in Kogs post was a duplicated topic which I think was merged by one of the Mods. I remember seeing both topics yesterday.

Yes this one was confusing. Last night there were two of the same topics, (nothing uncommon right now) both topics had quite a few posts in each, so I merged them together. The topic that "moved" became comments for some unexplained reason.:noidea: Worst things have happened though.
