Spindle question

I was just given an ancient jon boat trailer. The axle is a piece of solid steel with the spindles turned at the ends. I am trying to find bearings and hubs for this axle, but it is kinda hard. There is what seems to be a spacer on the spindle, but I can't find anything on them, or where to get new ones. The spindle seems to be about a 1" spindle, but I still have to find the spacers. If anyone could give me any help or advice, please do so. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

A good pic of this "spacer" would really help.
The last one i saw that had a so called spacer was really inside race of the old bearing. this had to be removed before the new bearing could be installed.
I dont recall ever seeing any kind of spacer on any kind of spindle ever.
But im sure i have not seen everything.

Throw up a pics or two and we will be right on it..
