I have a problem with my spindle lube system on my trailer. The brand name is super lube I think. The castle nut was held in place by a drive pin through the spindle. After I completed a bearing replacement I discovered that cotter pins won't work as a replacement because they don't seal off the hole through the spindle. Instead of forcing the grease to the back of the spindle, it just comes out around the cotter pin. i haven't been able to find a substitute yet that will fit the hole tightly and still be flexible enough to bend. Does anyone have any experience with this problem?
