speedo pickup clogged up

While I'm waiting for my gaskets to come in for the 150 j, was wondering if anyone had good idea for cleaning out speedo pick in the l/u. BTW, I tried air, carb cleaner and wire so far.

Tiny drillbit. I have a really small cordless drill, or one of those old gear driven hand crank things. It sounds dangerous, but it usually takes a lot to go into any vital areas. You just have to pay attention to what debris is coming from the bit. If you get metal, Stop.

I hope I dont have debris past the straight part of the inlet.Ill try the drill bit, tho.

update, the speedo is still clogged, debris must be past the turn in the casting Also, wehre the head bolt screws in, the ear broke off I drilled and tapped deeper to accomodate a longer bolt, but I need to attach the ear back so the head gasket will seal. Any suugestions?
