speed up

Nissan 9.8 E F 2011 nsf9.8a3 four stroke. When I give it gas to take off it will stall out unless i pump it. Runs great other than that. Is there a ajustment to correct that? Any help thanks. bsandy

Probably running lean. Verify fuel line not leaking any air into it. Verify thermostat is not stuck open. Clean the carb... correctly, not just a spray-out. In the future, run the carb out at the end of each and every day to reduce the chances of varnishing, which leads to too-lean operation.
