Speed Control Knob

I have a 2007 Supreme 220V. Down below the throttle is a silver speed adjustment knob for changing the Speedometer MPH, what's the function of this?

Guessing, is to adjust if there is an offset from actual speed.

If you want 30 MPH and when using GPS your seeing 29 or 31 your can get it exact
