I need a the specs for my 1965 Evinrude 60HP Motor, such as the motor’s WIEGHT, and what TRANSOM HEIGHT (15 - 20inch) the motor can be used on. I have a 15 inch Transom on my 1963 Aluminum Starcraft Stardust and have been told they don’t go together. The motor model no. is 60552C. Anyone with this info, or suggestions on where to look? Thanks for any help!

Hi Conrad,<br />Don't know if it is a long or short.<br />WT.= 221 (dry)<br />cu. in.= 70.7<br />max rpm=5000<br />list price in 1965=$865.00<br /><br />I'll check somemore<br />..have fun...corm

Hi Conrad,<br />It is 28inches from the sternhook where the motor hangs on the boat to the centerline of the propshaft for a longshaft motor.A shortshaft would be 5" less. Hope this helps.<br />...have fun...corm
