I have a 1997 Mercruiser 7.4L Bravo 1 Carburated engine. ON the top of the flame arrestor, it states the timing is 10 degrees and in parenthesis it states "special timing sequence required" or something like that. Does anyone have any idea what this means. I was setting the timing today with a timing light. ANy ideas?

Re read what it says....you should have to lock it in to base timing.ground the purple and white lead hanging loose by your choke.
