Speaking of Forum difficulties!

This has been happening to me quite regularly. It seems the system wants to double post some words. Here is the link to the thread with my last post to do this.

Notice the last word "speakers". It is duplicated on the last line. If I go to edit, the word only shows up once.

I tried to cut and paste that text in this thread but "speakers" only showed up once when I did it.

As I mentioned, this has happened several times before. It makes it look like I double typed the word.

Hmmmm? Every time I go back to that link, the doubled 'speakers' is still there. And however, like I said, if I copy and paste that line, it does not paste the double 'speaker'.

Gremlins I guess?

At best it is an invasive critter. It even wants to un-mute my speakers!

Here is a screen shot from my computer. I also did two other things. I logged out and went back to the screen. The double speak was still there. I then turned on my other computer, the one I am typing from now. The double speak was still there.

If I go back and edit out 'speakers', both words go away. If I go back and re-add it, the double word shows back up??

Maybe it's an Internet Explorer thing?? I run Firefox 4 and don't see it.

I just logged on using IE 8 and speakers only appears one time.

Hey Boom, you aren't crazy ... that shows in in just about every thread I look at ... there is at least one post with one "double word", usually on the last word on the first line of the post and doubled again as the first word on the second line of the post. I have noticed it for the past several months ... so I am seeing double with you, dude!

Maybe exchange system info and see what your common elements are.

That's been happening ever since the last upgrade I almost don't notice it anymore. I said almost. Another forum I frequent using the same software did the same upgrade and also repeats the last word of the first line of some posts.

It happens to me every now and then, you need to go back and edit it by dropping that word to the next line.
