Spartk plug wire routing help needed for 1990 Evinrude 90hp (V4) Model# TE90TLESB

I searched forum pretty extensively and couldn't find the answer for this model engine so I was hopping someone would know or be able to reference a manual. The online parts diagram was no help either.

PROBLEM: I removed the spark plug wires and can't remember which wire went where on each side of the engine. It seems logical that the the top right coil wire would go to the top right cylinder, the bottom right coil wire to the bottom right cylinder and the same w/ the other side.. top to the top and bottom to the bottom. But it seems like the top/bottom coil wilre/plug was crossed on the left and not on the right... if that makes any sense. Have carb problems so can't get it to run to test AND it's not my boat so I'm trying to help a family member out. Anyone know which plug wire goes where? Any help would be appreciated.

Usually each coil feeds the spark plug next to it. That only works if you have the correct color coded wire power pack wire going to the correct spark plug coil. The wiring diagram link above is correct.

I see the engines on this chart for 1990 V4s only goes through 1989. Would an '89 be the same as a '90 or should I be looking at a different chart? That's definitely a helpful chart if I can confirm it's the right one!

Forgive the ignorance but from the rear of the boat facing forward which is which cylinder number? Perhaps it's marked on the engine somewhere but I'm not a the boat now. Thanks!

Stb side, 1-3 from top. Port side, 2-4 from top. Color codes and locations are the same when it comes to ign leads to powerpack from stator and trigger as well as Powerpack to coils.
