Hi All. My boat (and shop manuals) are sitting up in Northern Wisconsin and I'm sitting here in Chicago. Does anyone know the correct size/brand spark plugs and the proper gap for a 1977 115hp Johnson 115EL77 V4 outboard? I want to buy them in Chicago before I go up there in a couple of weeks but I'm having a tough time finding any info on the 'net. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Paul

Use a Champion QL77JC4 spark plug Paul. Book gap is .030 but you can set them at .040 and get a little better idle with out affecting top end.
