Sparkplug Wires

I have an 1967 20HP Johnson and the spark plug wires are cracking and in bad shape. I can order them online but is there any difference between automotive wire and the stuff I can buy here?

automotive wires will not hold up.

Ok, then I think I will get the spark plug wire kits from the web. I was going to get the condensers, contacts, and a new ignition coil anyway.

I can only hope. So far a carb cleaning and new plugs haven't helped so hopefully this will.

Fuel lines can be automotive, right? Since I'm at it, I should really replace all of them as well.
