Sparkplug type/gap

When I look in the Champion spark plug reference book or on their website they do not list an '89 2.0 liter seadrive, only '90-'92.<br /><br />Does anyone know if I would use the same ones? They are listing L77JC4.

QL77JC4 is the correct plug for your engine.

Fogot to ask the gap, I think my Clymer manual said .040

The later specs call for .030" but some guys gap them wider.Your late 80's model may idle a bit smoother with them gapped at .035".
