spark plugs

I have a 65 merc 110 and right now it has a set of ford plugs in it

what plugs should I be running in it?
and do I need one set for long trolling (hotter) and one for high rpm playing (cooler)

J8C should do both, when high speed heavy load conditions are being common check the plugs and if they show heat drop down to J6C, the original plug was a J7J which is NLA from Champion
