I have a 1996 2212 Cuddy Cabin Starcraft with a 5.7 Ltr. 250 Hp MerCruiser engine
SR# 0F787333. I want to replace the spark plugs and I have 3 questions.

1. Should I use Champion or Ngk plugs?
2. What is the proper gap?
3. What is the proper torque?

If anyone has answers or can recommend a website ware I can obtain this information I will be extremely grateful. Feel free to e-mail me at rlfritz26@hotmail.com
Thanks
Ron

Re: Spark Plugs

I got yer websight right here, ron.....that motor had AC plugs in it from GM......factory replacement is a NGK BR6FS...gap is .035" personally i will not use champion plugs...their quality control stinks i hate to use a foreign product but they work well.....any taper seat plug torque is 20 foot pounds.
