Spark Plugs for 1971 50 HP

Motor came with Champion UL 77 V plugs. Curious if there are better plugs for this motor. I ran one like this years ago on the UL 77 V's and remember the plugs fouling a lot. Do not care for this type of spark plug.

I quit using the surface gap plugs and replaced them with QL77J4 or L77J4, they have the center electrode.
