spark plug ?

Is there a difference between a ngk br8hs and a b8hs? Its a 50hp tlr. The manual says br8hs and under the cowling on back of motor it says b8hs. whats the difference and why the difference in listing? thanks.

the r stands for internal resistor to aid in cutting EMI.
electro magnetic interference.
if the cowl says b8hs you can use BR8HS or the HS-10.
the -10 indicates its pre gapped at .1mm or roughly .039".
if the tag says BR dont use a b.
the EMI can affect some CDI units.
it can also affect radios and CD players and such.
