I need a new set of spark plug wires for this project. Any recommendations?

Anything special for marine applications?
Will a good RFI Suppression wire work?

I'll need to run the wires down and under the center riser exhaust mainfolds. Best to buy the universal and cut to fit? -OR- What's the best option for a 'turn key' set?

Application:
Small Block Chevy w/ Osco exhaust manifolds
(BTW: I have issues about clean and exact fitting)
Re: Spark Plug Wires?

I too am picky when it comes to fit and routing of plug wires. I have yet to find an aftermarket marine wire set that I was happy with the way they fit. For a really nice (not droopey) fit you may have to trim a few down a little. You can order extra 90 degree terminals and boots from mercury (part # 85-63709A1).

Then you need a stripper and crimper. A good crimper is about $100.00, but you can get a little one that you put in a vise from MSD for about $10.00.

The Sierra (grey) and Magstar (yellow) aftermarket sets are pretty good performance wise.

Dave

NAPA Marine is Sierra.

I used Accell. We had a heated debate over this last year. The specs Accell uses exceed the Marine SAE Spec.

Hey CZ...

You gonna paint those OSCO's??? Just curious. I just got a pair and the shipping info clearly stated that the manifolds and risers were only undercoated. I painted mine and they are sitting here waiting for me to get some time to get them on.

I only mention it cause you said you were a detail freak... left unpainted, your gonna have a couple of rusty looking things hanging there.
