What is the difference between an NGK BR8HS10 and B8HS10 spark plug? I installed the BR plug by mistake and had plug fouling issues for the first time. I thought it was a load of bad gas that caused it and just found that I had used a different plug than what should be in there...

the "r" stands for resistance it is basically to keep interference if you have a radio etc connected to your system .....

Re: Spark plug question...

Thanks, the R plugs had a slightly shorter ceramic part and I thought maybe it was a colder plug...

Re: Spark plug question...

Make sure you set the gap, even though plugs usually come generically pre gapped you need to ensure you are operating at suggested gap
