Spark plug for 1968 Johnson 5 hp

I own 1968 Johnson 5 hp Can someone please tell me if i can use regular car spark plug for this engine?

NO no no!!

Correct plugs are Champion J4C gapped at .030"

What kind of "regular" car plug are you considering? There are hundreds of different "regular" plugs. An AC42 would be close. But why?? Use the right plug and be done with it.
