Spark plug equivalence

I was supplied with NGK-BP8HS spark plugs for my 40 HP Yamaha outboard, normally I use NGK-B8HS, what is the difference, will these do the job ?<br /><br />Regards.

The P stands for Projected Insulator Type on NGK I would stick to what was pulled out
