spark plug contridictions

1994 Evinrude 200 LE200SLERS What is the correct spark plug? The manual says QL77JC4 yet some charts say QL78YC. What is the difference between these two plugs. Any insight would help. I am currently having idle problems and dying when accelerating. After 1200 rpms the motor runs great.

I'd use the plug recommended in the manual.

Then, I'd look for other causes of your idling and acceleration problems. They're unlikely to be caused by spark plugs.

The last updated spark plug chart from BRP shows the QL77JC4 as the one to use.

The chart I am seeing for BRP revised in 3/5/2009 shows the QL77YC. Either I am reading it wrong are Gary has a different chart. But I have seen charts with either of these plugs listed depending on where you look. Anybody have anymore info. Thanks
