I have a 1968 18 HP Fastwin. I need to replace all the gearcase seals. I read in my manual to use Scotchgrip 847 on the machined surfaces of the gearcase halves. I'm wondering about the spaghetti seal. Do I also put the Scotchgrip in the spaghetti seal groove and on the spaghetti seal itself? Is more Scotchgrip adhesive better than less or a moderate amount?
