Are there any Spacecraft owners out there.

I have a 1987 V 240 Supersport Cuddy Cabin. It's a great boat (Florida built) but they went out of business in 1991, when the tax on boats killed the boating industry.

It's a 24 Degree Deep V--very seaworthy. Powered with a 260 HP Mercruiser She has been very dependible. I bought it in 1990 and I had new Manifolds & Risers put on last year--not bad for a saltwater boat. And yes the 260 HP mercruiser only burns about 3.5 gallons per hour--better than an outboard motor.

Re: Spacecraft

The boat was built in Cocoa Beach, FL & they used high quality material. The stainless bow rails never had a bit of wax on them & they shine like new. Some low grade stainless railings get water spots & rust spots and you have to keep polishing them. They built the fiberglass nose cones for the spaceships, until they lost the contract. That's when they started building boats--thus the name Spacecraft.
