Took the family out last night for some R&R. Caught 1 small Flatehead.

nice fish, but i think it's a bull. maybe a yellow. Every flathead i ever saw was gray (except for that flathead fod, but i digress!) what bait and where at?

the delaware is great for channels down by philly intl.

I have been Flathead fishing for a few years now, That is a flathead, It has am FLAT HEAD and is brown on top with a yellowish whitish bottom. Channel cats are grey. The Skuylkill is full of them. The big ones get caught on live or cut Sunnys. My daughter caught this small one on a night crawler. My biggest is 29 lbs at 33", but the die hards round here catch them up to 40 lbs. Give it a try bud. I'll give ya some pointers.

Yeah, It's a flat head. Here in the Tennessee River they are a yellow color. The size of that one makes it hard to tell. The big ones have a more noticeable head. That one is a good samich size

Haha, yeah. You getum big down there in Tennesse, don't ya buddy? If ya target them up here, the average is between 24-30 inches with the scattered bigger ones up to the mid forty's.

Got a mixed bag last night. Great drag srceaming battle with the carp. Love catching those. Flatty was around 26".

Carp was around 28".......and a stinking 20" Eel....
