Source for schematics and parts for early 90's OMC controls?

I just acquired a '91 Avon RIB with an Evinrude 30 and a front console with remote controls and steering. The lever for the throttle (when starting/in neutral) is not working, and I suspect something is broken inside the control.

I have spent (literally) days scouring the net for schematics or parts lists for these OMC controls and can find nothing.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a source for a schematic/parts diagram and place to buy parts for this remote control unit? (I'm sorry I don't have pictures handy - I'm out of town...) Best I can do is here:

Thanks in advance for any help!

Go to the parts catalog at http://shop.evinrude.com/ D select "OB Accessories" from the drop down list (not the tab) and pick the year, then the remote control you have.

just went through this same drill with a 99. Found an Accesory manual on Ebay that had everything except the parts. The above site will give you that. If you cannot find the correct asse manual on Ebay then ask the seller of the manuals to find one. That's how I got mine.

Thanks for the tips (for some reason instant notification not working, so I just reposted this thread, then found I had responses - sorry!).

I just ordered a manual on eBay.

When I go to the factory parts schematics online, I'm having a really hard time finding one that looks like mine... (part of my problem, I'm sure is my ignorance of what various pieces are called..)

Thanks again for the help,

That's a fairly standard remote control on motors like the 50HP. Check the parts catalogs around your model year for the non-tiller motors; they will have the remote control listed. http://shop.evinrude.com/
