Sony radio upgrade

I have a 1997 205 sundowner and I want to replace the the stock Sony CDX 2250 compact disc player,is it a straight or forward job will I need a new wiring harness or adaptors,
Any recommendations

Pull out your old head unit, and take a look at how it's wired to the boat. Different options depending on if it's hard wired, or if there are connectors that can be disconnected. Post pictures of what it looks like for the best answers.

If you replace it with another Sony you might be able to just unplug it, slide in the new one, plug it in and be done. I replaced the Sony in 03 FourWinns last year with another Sony. It was that easy, took less than 10 minutes. I didn't buy another Sony for that reason, just happened my wife got me the new unit for Christmas and she picked out a Sony.
