Something to pass on about Eagle Claw Hooks

This weekend was a blast. Catfish was a biting big time. A couple of 8 pounders and a dozen 2 pounders. Just the tasty size. However I would have landed a 30+pounder if it wasn't for the POS Eagle Claw Hooks. I got looking at the hooks with the leader. There is no eye in the hook anymore. When did they quit doing this? Several times I have lost a fish due to the leader coming off the hook. 20 minuets of fighting him and what happens? the leader comes off! I guess thats what I get for using Wal-Mart products. Just kiddin.. It didn't ruin my day since it was a busy day of baiting, removing, and casting. I love it!

You purchase snelled hooks from Wal-Mart????? Why for you do this? You too busy to make up your own? In all reality I prefer to make up my own leaders and love Eagle Claw hooks but thanks for the heads up.
