I notice that the external motor brackets are a lot wider on the newer ones they make. I have an older one and was wondering if someone here that owns a 9.8 4 stroke could measure the distance between the mounting clamps so I can make sure that my bracket is wide enough. This motor looks great and for the price I am seriously considering it. Thank you.
