Some Questions Of My Baja Force 235

I have just bought a 1989 Baja Force 235 with a 260 hp mercruiser 350 magnum carb, and I would like to know any comments about this boat, like gasoline consumption, behavior, opinion about it etc. I am kind of new on this and I want to check if I bought a good boat and also the fuel consumption approx.

I had an 89 Baja Force 216 with the same engine, although the 260HP is not the magnum version. The boat topped out at GPS measured 64mph with a 4 blade Stilletto SS prop. As long as you keep the four barrel carb closed it was very good on fuel consumption. I'm assuming your 235 will be quite a bit heavier so fuel consumption will increase. Loved the boat and it never let me down. Very reliable and generally a very fun boat. We ended up moving to the New York Finger Lakes area so the cuddy was not useful and we ended up with an open bow Crestliner.

Sorry I didn't notice you're new to iboats, so welcome to the forum. Questions usually are responded to better in the general boating area as the manufacturer sections are not looked at as often.
